Appearance: light-medium salmon pink. Nose: pleasant toasty first nose with lighter red fruits (redcurrant, raspberry). Palate: lively acidity, pleasant fruit, but the dosage seems a bit unruly here (the sugar stands out). Quite good length though. Conclusion: this wine has a relatively high proportion of Chardonnay for a rose Champagne (it's a 50/50 blend), but seems a bit out of balance. Worth trying other bottles though.
