Note for Casa Gaeiras Colheita Seleccionada 2005

Interesting nose! I immediately get bright red fruit aromas - predominately raspberry - interlaced with grilled steak, vanilla and a green tea, or herbal note right at the end. In the mouth, the wine is a bit hollow on mid palate, with a sharp acidity right at the tip of the tongue, ending in a sour cherry and mineral with a sharp wood finish.
