Interesting nose! I immediately get bright red fruit aromas - predominately raspberry - interlaced with grilled steak, vanilla and a green tea, or herbal note right at the end. In the mouth, the wine is a bit hollow on mid palate, with a sharp acidity right at the tip of the tongue, ending in a sour cherry and mineral with a sharp wood finish. September 16, 2008

Fruit and wood nose on this with lots of vanilla, oak, and raspberry. In the mouth the oak, continues, very toasty with a very acidic profile. Dark black liquorice masks most of this wine, and while there are mineral elements, as a whole this wine is not very interesting with an alcohol that is a bit out of balance and unrefined tannins.
