If you love winter aromas filled with dark, spicy, stewed fruit, you'll love this port wine! Imagine an enormous pot of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, black cherries, currant and black pepper simmering over a smoky campfire. This wine is intoxicating. In the mouth, the wine is lush, silky with incredibly fine tannins and bright acidity expressing varied rich fruit flavors under a light mesh of cinnamon and clove. Although this wine could easily pair with duck comfit or a roast, I am perfectly happy sipping this as is, allowing the flavors to coat my palate and send me into a joyful bliss!
