I don't feel qualified to objectively rate a bottle that costs around £250 as I can't think of any circumstances where I would normally be in a position to buy it or taste it except at this amazing dinner I felt privileged to be at. Suffice it to say it had a nose of rich, sweet black fruit. The palate was luscious and rounded with hints of wild herbs, vanilla and chocolate supporting the fruit. Lots of tannin and acidity but in a balanced way. Intense, concentrated, powerful and unique.
