Gorgeous golden color, with somewhat bigger bubbles than I expected. Bready nose with caramel apple, baked cookie and cantelope. Wet hay creeps in with some time open and I begin to think this might be a bit oxidized. Creamy in the mouth with a med to light acidity. Apple, toast, and bready....not complex, and most likely a bit oxidized. If not then avoid this wine. Otherwise, I'll look to find another to taste before passing full judgment. July 10, 2007
