Review for Oscar's 2008

    lilianarosa July 22, 2010
A clear dark red color wine with some hints of purple. I would expect a slow homogeneous tear, but no, its quite the opposite. The nose begins fruity and fresh with hidden and quickly disappearing toast/smoke notes. It evolves to ripe fruit, with a lingering sweetness. In the mouth, is balanced, with a refreshing acidity. The tannins are firm and the body is medium. Overall, it is a smooth and light wine, good for the Summer and light dishes. You really can't notice the 14% alcohol!
