Deep red color which has a nose to pair with it, pure red fruit, raspberries fresh from the vine. Really an easy fruit forward fun nose that will draw you in but not make you think too much. In the mouth this wine is lush, and fruit driven with a purity that is balanced by a food friendly acidity and fine, second fiddle tannins. Nothing to get in the way of enjoying this simple red wine, which touches at times with vanilla and dark spice, but never gets complex. A great any night pasta wine. August 24, 2008 | | Comment

Lovely ruby red color with a darker, vibrant red core. Unctuous and perfumey nose dark red fruits and a dense violet undertones. This wine won't bowl you over on first sip, but rather appeal to your simpler and less complex side. It's a wine that shows good acidity along the border of your tongue, but leaves a slight hollowness on the mid palate.
