Wow, fun wine. Really a restrained nose, though this does show light lemon confit, touches of vanilla, and melon(cantelope). In the mouth this is a full bodied wine, with some great richness. Wood is a bit too strong for me, though the zingy acidity and fresh lemon touches, really make me a believer. I rather have no oak, but I have to say if your going to use it, this is the way to do it! Seek this wine out for meals that demand a larger bodied white.

First off, allow me to say that the palate is a bit of an oddity to me. It shows great acidity near the front of my mouth, not including the tip of the tongue, and a buttery, creamy sensation on the back palate; whereby creating a rather peculiar texture in my mouth. Far from unpleasant, just different. On the nose, I get a strong aroma of the creamsicle popsicle, for which I adored as a child, where the vanilla cream on the inside blended with the frozen grapefruit/melon aroma on outside. I like this wine. Although the wood is clearly present, I don't find it overwhelming or distracting, but rather makes me excited to try it with the Indian Curry Fish were making for tonight.
