A combinacao do aroma fresco e intenso da touriga nacional com frutos vermelhos maduros da syrah, deu origem a este elegante rosé.

Presents itself with a quite clear red-magenta colour in the glass. On the nose quite vegetable and frail and young raspberry and strawberry scents. On the mouth the strawberrys can be noticed at entry time but it looses some strength and easily slides to some quite unbearable acidity turning the experience less enjoyable. Goes halfway into the tongue leaving a fresh but yet acidulous taste in the palate. This wine's previous year (2008) was way up in to scale and way more bearable and enjoyable. Specifically this year's wine is more acidic and less concentrated either visually, aromatically and flavour wise.

botto Do you think it needs cellar time? Paul and I had a similar experience with an 09 Rioja (a modern style)

airdiogo For this rose i don't think that cellar time will add much more.
And the difference between the two vintages I believe is just due to grape quality.

amabok I'm with Diogo here on this one. I don't think that cellar time will work with this rose either. It is really grape quality and probably production issues. Its really a shame considering last year's wine bar was raised higher.
