Review for Grainha 2007

edwardragg Wine Blogger May 17, 2010
Appearance: medium purple-red. Nose: quite restrained, brooding dark fruits but increasingly floral on aeration with lovely oak. Palate: excellent high chewy tannins, refreshing relatively high acidity, good fruit, lovely oak and very well-balanced. Good length too. Conclusion: a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Cão and Touriga Nacional, this is a lovely wine which will repay longer keeping. From 2012.
