Tasted this wine at Chafariz do Vinhos in Lisbon. Fantastic wine tasted in the perfect wine setting. Crystal clear green in color with very light aromas of pear, bread and black current. Incredibly fine bubbles that dance on your tongue only enhancing that great blackcurrent flavor. Though, strange for me to have the black current flavor be more intense than the bread/pear in a chardonnay. Wonderful wine all the same. August 4, 2007 | Link to this note
