Dark cranberry color that is mimicked on the nose followed by a very light raw almond flavor. Lovely mouthfeel with medium sized bubbled that coat your palate and leave a nice lingering finish, transforming the strong cranberry and basalmic flavor to a gentle green apple. The only issue I had with this wine is that it becomes too sweet for me after one glass, and I think I would have enjoyed it more with a nice brie or even a Torta del Casar (a stinky fabulous thick Spanish goat cheese).
