After decanting approximately two hours I poured a glass of this deep garnet colored wine with ripe dark berries and tobacco on the nose. Tastes of the same along with spice and mineral notes provided for a deep and long finish. I paired this with tri-tip steak and sauteed vegetables and found it be perfectly matched.
