Review for Rosé Pingo Doce 2010

    I think this is the same wine as Fonte de Nico Rosé, but labeled "Pingo Doce" and sold exclusively at this retailer. Who cares, anyway? Beautiful translucent salmon color in the glass. Fragrant nose resembling a bowl of tropical fruits. In two words, its palate is fruity and fresh, the two greatest ingredients for a summer wine. Its relatively high level of residual sugar adds to its fruity character, and makes it an easy-drinker, while its great acidity helps with the freshness. Simple and pleasant. Amazing value at €2, will definitely pick some up for the summer.
