Dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose there is pepper, dark berry fruits and spice with a showing of oak. On the tongue you get the mouthfeel of an Anderson Valley syrah. Anise, pepper and spice are full and rich. The added time in the cellar has brought out a slight vanilla note with layered oak. The tannins are rounded with good acidity. Will peak in the next 6-12 months. Good syrah representation. Paul
