Rich yellow color with a nose that is showing full maturation. A lemon rift is playing over an oxidized tawny orange note. In the mouth the wine is soft, like a down pillow and yet retains a vibrant lemony acidity. Faded fruit drifts through the room like dust through the sunlight on a fall afternoon. Mild, and mellow, I want to say the life is gone, but just as I do, the wine whispers in my ear and I'm drawn back in. It maybe a shadow of it's former richness, but it none the less has an elegance that I appreciate. Leave the food cooking, and enjoy this as you find a bottle for the dinner table later on.

ryanopaz I don't believe in a "peak". I believe in highpoints and low points, but the highs are defined by what you like. For me this was at a high point. While others may have put it at a low point. The key is to figure out what you like and then shoot for that, if you can.
