A deep, dark golden syrup colour in the glass. Nose developed all the time - treacle, slightly burnt toffee, cloves, cinnamon and black coffee. The palate has the taste of 'drunken' dried fruit, particularly raisins, a beautiful sweetness, every so slightly alcoholic, concentrated and complex.

rckr1951 Excellent descriptors! The "drunken dried fruit" character is something that I resemble on occasion - or so my wife would have me believe.
