Torre Silo 2004, 16mo oak, Sample taken from bottling tank. Deeper richer purple color. The nose immediately shows chocolate, with an anise underbelly followed by raspberry and dark cherry. In the mouth this is a rich wint with very fin tannins that remain firm and a integrated acidity. Flavors of chocolate, burnt wood, raspberry, blackcherry, currants, and burnt raisen(carmelized?), vanilla and spice. The finish lingers on and on. Truly a great wine from a great vintage.
