Review for Borsao ‘Tres Picos’, Campo de Borja 2007

edwardragg Wine Blogger May 28, 2009
Appearance: darkish purple-red. Nose: distinct strawberry and red cherry fruit with overt oak and heady alcohol. Palate: bags of fruit here with medium-high coating tannins, hefty alcohol, medium acidity and pretty good length. Conclusion: weighs in at14.5% alc. – the alcohol is a little noticeable, unfortunately – but what it packs in terms of heat is almost made up for with abundant fruit. Needs food. Drink now or to 2010. Not for long keeping.
