Review for Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes, Nicolas Potel 2004

edwardragg Wine Blogger December 12, 2008
Appearance: medium gold. Nose: mellowed toasty oak with some buttery and nutty aromas and some of the rich citrus fruit of Meursault (here with a bit of age) revealing itself. Palate: pleasant citrus fruit, some richness on the palate with decent oak, lifting acidity and good length. Conclusion: very good indeed and ageing well. Drink now to 2010, perhaps longer. Rating is likely to get even better with further age.
