Woody cherry nose with a bit of funk and wet stone. Light vanilla/cardomon spice note to it, very pure overall and fun. Lush in the mouth with fine but firm tannins, med acid. Flavor so rich ripe cherries, charcoal, vanilla, cinnamon, and red currants. Really a fun wine to taste with nice complexity. August 13, 2007
