Fumado, mineral, fruta bem madura. Muito agradável.

Lightly smokey fruit nose that is dark and deep, with just a bit of a whiff of funk! Touch of soy and violets, while in the mouth a wine that is soft and elegant with a nice med weight acidity. Fresh and with fine mature tannins. Ton's of minerality and a nice blackberry(fresh) and light soy touch. Really elegant though the finish heats up a bit, something that a bit of food might help with. 5 years old and showing why it's better to hold onto wines at time, rather than run out and drink them right away.

I believe my nose has taken so many dips and dives into the glass, searching for the appropriate descriptions, that I'm left speechless...well, almost. Dark, delightful, delicious and delectable! An incredibly perfumy nose with pungent violets notes, subtle soy, unctuous spice and lovely herbal aromas that dance and shimmy on the surface. In the mouth, the wine is soft, with noticeable acidity, but its so well integrated that it little falls into the tannins, creating a very attractive mouthfeel. Though, a touch hollow on the midpalate, I still find this a lovely and refreshing wine for a cool, autumn eve!
