Review for Ayala Blanc de Blancs 2000

Sparkling produced by Ayala in CHAMPAGNE, France

Appearance: lightish gold, good mousse. Nose: pleasant, perhaps a little closed, lemon and other citrus fruits, gentle autolytic aromas. Palate: lively high acidity, subtle fruit and good length. Conclusion: this is a baby at present and will surely be very good in the future. Needs time. Blended from three different Grand Crus: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant and Chouilly, of which Le Mesnil-sur-Oger is dominant.   September 3, 2008 | Link to this note
