Big black cherry on this nose as well laced in aromas of cigar box, wet earth, red meat, black pepper and slate. Big tannins that need some time to chill out and bring forth that mature black cherry hiding in the background. I see a good future for this wine! Yum!

rckr1951 Man oh man, this sounds like one to have a couple stuck away in the cellar.

Adult wine with a rich cherry and dark fruit profile with hints of dark spices. This definitely needs time to show it's full potential. In the mouth a full juicy wine with a big strong backbone of tannins and dark fruits. Rich and chewy with tannins that require 5yrs or more to really come of age. Not overly complex at this point but with good potential. Definitely a summertime bbq wine. Though I think I might wait a bit before opening another bottle.
