From the Landmark Tutorial Day 3 (Sept 22nd 2010): Blind-Tasting ‘Cabernet Sauvignon and Friends’ presented by Brian Croser. Appearance: very dark ruby. Nose: restrained dark fruit, tobacco – oak perhaps more overt in what is a young wine – with brooding blackcurrant and slightly herbaceous cassis/black plum fruit. Palate: sweeter fruit on the palate than on the nose, supported by medium-high acidity and a very big coating and gripping tannin structure. Very young and very long. Conclusion: a baby, but surely with a great future ahead. From 2017.
