Immediate imagery consists of a soft and warm spring day taking my first walk in the meadows back in Colorado with small budding flowers, fresh green aromas and a wicker basket filled with warm oven baked bread. In the mouth, the wine is austere with subtle citrus notes, a touch of apricot enough zest in its step to awake you from a deep slumber. Cross Audrey Hepburn with Lily Tomplin and you've captured its personality.

Wow, this is a nose full of beautiful complexity. toast, yeasty lees, creamy lemon, spring flowers, and so much more...almost don´t want to remove my nose from the glass to taste it. In the mouth this is beautifully complex with a burnt peach creme brulee with lemon zest shaving quality, if you know what I mean! Very dry if not a touch too dry, and the finish could use a gram or so of residual sugar. I would pair this with food though, and am thinking of simple roasted fowl, preferably wild.
