Review for Chateau Rayne-Vigneau, Sauternes 2005

edwardragg Wine Blogger November 29, 2008
Appearance: light gold. Nose: delicate botrytis giving way to attractive candied, citrus fruits. Palate: obviously very young at present, so some integration is understandably lacking, but the essential components are very promising. Decent fruit, lively acidity and well-balanced with medium-high residual sugar. Good length too. Conclusion: very young right now. Obviously well-made and promises to drink well from 2012.
