Purchased at BevMo! in Chandler AZ (on sale), $6.52, 13.5% alcohol. Cherry red garnet color, very narrow clear ring. Fresh berries on the nose; blackberry, cassis, strawberry. Earthy, herbal character, aromatic tobacco, vanilla. Lively, young & fresh on the palate, another young-and-meant-to-be-drunk-young bottle. Lightly-roasted tannins & acidity provide excellent structure for a kind of "light" black fruit juice palate. Black raspberry, cassis & plum are there but don't exert any weight - like I said, fresh & young. Lots of mineral in the finish. This offering succeeds in being what it's meant to be on basically every level. High quality juice, solid crafting, easy & fun to drink, no flaws (for what it is.) I can't score it like that, but it'll still be pretty high. Definitely worth finding!
