Aromas of melon, pear and green apple. Bright fresh straw color. Flavors of citrus, hint of green apple and apricot, followed by good acidity.

on the nose - lemon with an undertone of earthiness taste - apples; very crisp, reminds one of Sauvignon Blanc rather than a chardonnay; very enjoyable, more to an aperitif than a dinner wine

Grapefan A chardonnay that tastes like a sauvignon? No wonder blind tasting is so hard!!

This was very good. A yellow straw in the glass. Lemons and apples with a good oaky note to this. Typical of Frog's Leap this is not the creamy chard that you expect from Napa. The palate gets a crisp, vital, acidic wine that brings a juicy finish to cheeks. Good offering and it still has 12-18 months left.
