Lemon in color, with medium intensity aromas of pineapple and banana and undertones of bread and hay. On the mouth I found a slight bitterness, like if you took a bite out of a banana peel. A medium length with a slightly off kilter balance and a wine that would definitely would be best served with food.

A shower of lemon, lime and minerals flow across my nose, reminiscent of an austere, yet creamy, citrus sorbet. Fresh honey and white floral perfume notes finish the bouquet conjuring images of a soft white laced dress flowing gently on a clothing line in the soft spring light of a wild flower meadow. In the mouth, this vinous treasure shows a sweet coquettish nature, offering a delicate hint of acidity behind a dusting of lemon peel, pineapple essence and light slate. Balanced, elegant, bold and kind, this wine would be a beautiful pairing to a grilled white fish.

Creamy with a definate tropical, pineapple quality. Toasted minerals, yes I said, toasted minerals. Pompous wine speak? Maybe, but damn that's what comes to mind, if it works for you raise your hand, if not move on and ignore the wine snob in the corner. Once it gets into my mouth the honey comb comes out, literally with dripping gobfuls of pineapple, wait for it...Sugarloaf pineapples, memories from childhood. Some lime dust coats the nose as it opens and in the mouth the well balanced acidity is nice, leaving a wine where the acidity doesn't stick out but works to balance an insane amount of luscuious Carmen Miranda fruit. This is a wine for Chardonnay lovers who want to mix it up and those who love the idea of sipping fruit. Well done.

bjwdad Ryan, I live in Phoenix and frequently do summer hikes on toasted minerals. Nothing pompous about it - I know what blazingly hot rocks smell like.
