  Appearance: medium gold. Nose: restrained first nose, touch of lanolin, lemon citrus fruit with hint of honey and burnt toast (though unoaked – this is Hunter Semillon just beginning to reach the toasty stage of its development). Palate: quite juicy lemon citrus fruit with buoyant medium-high to high acidity – fruit quality and acid indicating this will age very happily for some time yet. Low to medium alcohol as befitting the Hunter style. Palate becomes increasingly mineral with some toast and ‘oyster shell’ notes. Very good length.
