Dark purple in color with a deep rich nose of black cherry, plum, chocolate, mint and black pepper. Very viscous and structured wine with lots of flavorful aromas; however, it's difficult to find them on the palate battling with the high alcohol level. I did find a strong molasses and vanilla quality on the palate however. Great nose, but hidden palate. August 6, 2007 | Link to this note
