Dark pink in the glass. Had a beautiful nose flowing with fresh strawberries, strawberry syrup, cherries and citrus. The palate wasn't nearly as pleasurable. The fruits barely came through, it did however have a nice acidity. This wine would been better last year.

The retro tasting started with this. A stout, forward rose that is surprising to say the least. As it opened it revealed more and more and turned out to be quite complex. Take a good sauvignon blanc, add cherry and raspberry with licorice notes, bristling citrus and acidity and there you have it. Honestly this would be a perfect sangria wine. Gin, fruit, some simple syrup and pour over shaved ice and you are there. Paul
