Sour minerally nose, really strangewith cranberry and some spicey notes, though a bit muted overall. In the mouth this wine is dark with a fresh acidity and strong tannins. Full of dark fruits, I think this wine needs a few years to come together. A powerful wine, that will improve in about 3-4 yrs. October 1, 2008 | This review is Useful (2) | Comment

Oooh, fun and funky dark red fruit, raisin, tanned leather and dark earth on the nose behind a slate/mineral lacing. In the mouth, the wine is juicy and lush with bright and edgy acidity near the front of the palate and medium firm chalky tannins that gently skim the surface before dissolving into a cranapple and dark spice finish. Well integrated and big, this wine deserves a big grilled steak with baked baby red potatoes coated in a rosemary, garlic aioli. October 1, 2008 | This review is Useful (2) | Comment
