Incredible deep red color! Roast Beef! Wow, the nose is pure meat with a cranberry gravy on top, really unique. Other berries can be found along with dark spices, soy sauce, and almost burnt black strap molasses quality. Great acidity to this wine with a freshness and fine tannin structure that cleans the palate. Nice rich cherry flavors come across the palate with light wood, cinnamon spice, and pardon the pun, everything nice. Really a GREAT entry level ruby port with a lot in common with some of the LBV's we've been tasting this month. My only complaint is that it's a bit hollow finish and short to finish. With so much nice flavor, I wish I it lasted longer. more November 27, 2007

Concentrated ruby core with bright garnet rim. On the nose, this wine reminds me of raw meat surrounded by cooked strawberries sprinkled with cinnamon and a touch of white pepper. Soft and luscious on the palate, with medium acidity and soft, fine tannins. This ruby is absolutely delicious brimming with bright red fruits and baking spices. With each sip, my craving deepens for a juicy Midwestern pie, perfectly browned with just a touch of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. November 27, 2007
