Review for La Vicalanda Reserva 2001
Red wine produced by Bodegas Bilbaínas in , Spain-

Fat Rioja nose with traditional and modern components. Cinnamon seems laced through this tight wine and red fruits sit in the background waiting to come forward. In the mouth this is a big wine, with full mouthfeel, and plenty of wood. I have to say this needs about 5 more years or so to really begin to shine. Great fruit that is waiting to come out, I think this wine will be a winner with some patience.
