Fat Rioja nose with traditional and modern components. Cinnamon seems laced through this tight wine and red fruits sit in the background waiting to come forward. In the mouth this is a big wine, with full mouthfeel, and plenty of wood. I have to say this needs about 5 more years or so to really begin to shine. Great fruit that is waiting to come out, I think this wine will be a winner with some patience. October 8, 2008 | | Comment

Slightly faded dark red with mild bricking on the rim. Dark dusty cherry on the nose sprinkled with fine black pepper and touch of charred wood. Nice silky fine tannins that literally slip right off your palate leaving fresh flavors of mature sour cherry and spice box. Considering its age, this wine still shows good acidity and good round mouthfeel. October 8, 2008 | | Comment
