This was truely a good versatile wine. In makes me think on the ways that a zinfandel can be used and we used it accordingly. Blackberry, herbs, leather, sweet vanilla and dark chocolate on the nose. Wonderful. On the tongue there is this a rich and ripe wine. The rich dark berry fruits and plum blend into the dark chocolate and herbal accents is a large way. A full bodied taste and although it will age well this is treat to drink now. We used it as a desert wine with the dark German chocolate cake. Can you can decadent? A hedonistic wine for the senses.
