Review for Chateau Suduiraut, Sauternes 2005

edwardragg Wine Blogger November 29, 2008
Appearance: medium gold. Nose: loads of candied fruit here indicating a rich, ripe style with good oak and deft botrytis. Very nicely integrated nose given the wine is so young. Palate: very good balance of medium-high residual sugar to sprightly acidity, bags of candied fruit, nice botrytis, but still quite restrained at present. Lovely length though. Conclusion: this was very good and one of the better wines of this rich vintage. Try in 2015, depending on how you like your Sauternes.
