Carregado na cor. Muito aromático, complexo, fruta preta muito expressiva, notas de barrica muito bem integradas, flores, especiarias, leves notas vegetais. Grande pujança na boca, bem ao estilo alentejano. Encorpado, mas com bom equilíbrio e elegância. Taninos presentes mas bem integrados, fresco e longo. Grande exemplar do Alentejo.

Dark and concentrated in the glass. Rich and intense nose, it is really hard to place this one in a single aromatic family. It blends sweet dark berries, light floral scents and wood (the cedar/cigar box spicy kind). Big and full-bodied in the mouth, with strong and gripping tannins and a good balance between fruit and oak. Strong acidity. The finish is long, persistent, pleasantly astringent and mostly spicy. Don't rush into drinking this one if you can afford to wait, I think it will benefit from cellaring for the next few years.

rckr1951 A good find Scott. I have an '08 that was described this to a bit of a lesser degree and now I'm thinking of waiting another year or so. Timely review.
