Purchased at Harris Teeter Grocery Store in Williamsburg VA, $7.99, 12.5% alcohol. Merlot-Cabernet blend with spices added. Dark brownish-red with some murk. The nose is an assault on the nose, in a good way: a potpourri of cocoa, cinnamon, clove, other baking spice, something fertile & floral, tobacco, Constant Comment tea. More of the same on the palate, with acidity expressed in the various spice characters. Muted tannins, as the spices are dominant. Long finish, heavy on clove and orange zest. Basically mulled wine out of a bottle, WAY better than any Sangria I've tried. I was going to save it for a Phoenix "winter," but since Phoenix winter is about the same as Indiana summer, I opened it this evening!

rckr1951 I like the "clove, cinnamon, other baking spice" part the best. The "something fertile" kinda makes me shudder a bit though.

bjwdad It was a "floral" fertile, and quite enticing, actually. It's a good thing! :)
