Note for Louro do Bolo 2007

Pale yellow color with a nose that seems serious. Hints of banana, and through in the peel with a fresh cut grass note that frames the picture. Rich, and ready to develop is how it jumps out at me right away. In the mouth this is a rich wine, with a nice streak of acid and pina-colada like tropical flavors. What saves it though from becoming a beach party mime, is the herbal notes, and weight that make me wonder about a fruit salsa on some monkfish.
