Crystal clear dark rose in color leading to a dusty rose rim. Nice dried red flowers on the nose, with hints of rhubarb and dusty attic. In the mouth, the wine is tight with gripping tannins and a subtle acidity that only peaks out near end of the finish. Although a little hollow on the palate, this is a good simple wine that would pair beautifully with a cold Mediterranean pasta salad.

Vanilla and sour cherry, with hints of violets as it opens. In the mouth high acidity with some bitter tannins that seem out of place. Not sure about this one, nice and light, though a bit disjointed.
