Barrel Sample Inky purple in color. The nose is layered iwth chocolate, minerals, black fruits, cherries and more. Tangy with a high acidity and rich dense tannins. The palate is a mess of flavors that have yet to sort themselves out. Chocolate, dark fruits, rich spices, and more. This wine appears to be a monster. April 25, 2006
