The California wine country comprises many miles of great hiking trails in addition to its many acres of grapevines, wineries, and world-class wines. I am an experienced naturalist, hiking guide, and wine lover who regularly organizes a blend of active outdoors and wine-tasting activities nearby to where the grapes are growing. For me, offering relaxing "winehiking" pursuits in the California wine country just feels natural.
With my blog, Winehiker Witiculture, I share unique observations about our human connection with Nature and the California wine country experience, from the hiking trail to the tasting room and beyond. The blog supports my tour company, California Wine Hikes, with an amalgamation of subjects related to hiking and wine including wine reviews, tasting notes, trail reports and photoessays, and other "grape squeezins".
