Deep dark ruby. Spicy oak aromas of cinnamon and roasted cedar mask the cherry fruit. The oak continues to dominate on the palate until the finish when cherry and plum fruit appears. Because the wine is substantial and well-structured with good depth and acid, the reappearance of fruit on the finish makes me suspect that the oak will eventually integrate and this will become quite a good and possible formiddable wine. My score gives this wine the benefit of the doubt.

Not sure how this one ended up being listed in Alexander Valley, but alas I don't know how to change this. From non-irrigated bush wines. Deep dark black red colour with violet highlights. Intense tobacco, licorice and black currant on the nose. Sandalwood and cassis flavour abundant fine-grained tannins. A long finish and plenty of ageing potential.

I don't know why this wine eded up in the list with Adelaide Hills as the region, but I can't change it... It is medium transparent ruby with faint violet highlights. Intense cherry, plum, and raspberry fruit on the nose and the palate. Low tannin content with a fairly silky mouthfeel. Refreshing medium acidity. This is an easy drinking, pleasant, uncomplicated wine.

This wien was fermented in stainless steel and matured in small oak barrels. Deep dark violet colour. Leather and ferral aromas mingle with cranberry and sloe. Rich, meaty, supple tannins and refreshing acid. Medium long complex finish.

This wine was fermented in stainless steel and matured in amphora. It has a dark, transparent purple colour. Restrained nose with spices like juniper and cumin with a hint of blackberry and lingonberry. Abundant, grippy tannins and refreshing lemony acid comprise a firm frame.Complex and very mineral. Quite an interesting wine that I expect will age quite well and improve.

Pale golden with orange highlights. Tangerine and a trace of cardamom comprise a seductive nose. Medium bodied and textured with light tannins. Citrus and grapefruit zest add to the contracting mouthfeel of this wine. Lightly bitter on the finish. Distinctive and interesting.

This oak fermented blend has a pale straw yellow colour. A restrained bouquet exhibits yellow apple, marsh mallow and bee wax on the nose. Nicely structured with medium body and refreshing, crisp acid. Lemon-laced apple and yellow currant linger on the finish.
