Very small lot of 2.000 bottles of Mexican variety grown in France. deep ruby colour, an extremely pleasant aroma of rippen fruit on the back of a nice balanced scent of oak. On the mouth this fruit is elegant, balanced with a almost inexistant acidity, making this wonderful wine easy to drink.

This wine is a mixture of touriga macional and alicante bouschet, aged in new French oak casks for 10 months. The result is a deep red plum colour, leaving some beautiful legs on the glasses' walls. On the nose you have the astonishing touriga pumping red berries and violet up your brain, which are then beautifully expressed on the mouth by a great balance, spiciness and spreading the fruit all over the mouth. Indeed, an experience to be repeated.

A beautiful poem! In the nose one feels chocolate, red berries, cumin, creaminess, whereas the mouth is full of a beautiful balance of creamy berries, spiciness and a vanilla background. A true symphony which I hope to meet back again.

Beautifully balanced nose with the mouth: the crispness and light acidity provided by these varieties, laying on the barrel aging for 9 months helps building up the structure of the wine with some notes of honey and ripe grape. Great to combine with grilled seafood.

Delicate and balanced nose, ripen grape and some hints of honey. On the palate there is some sweetness and an after taste of raisin. Very nice considering the ageing!

rckr1951 Yumm - sounds delicious. How are you doing?

Mesquita Hey Paul! When are you coming over? Are you already a #winelover?
1572 days ago

rckr1951 Wouldn't I love to. My job has settled into a north-central Wisconsin oriented area. I thought that at one point I'd be going to Germany to the parent companies site, but that got dropped when they decided to ship a bunch of new machines to our plant instead.

What a fabulous red! just by opening the bottle and sniffing the cork we could feel the cocoa right under our noses! Pretty nice warmth, with a beautiful vegetable nose and the right balanced mouth finish giving us the feeling of tasting chocolate mousse. a must try

Very interesting oxidation notes on the nose, however, fruity as a muscat wine with honey and seafood flavour, kind of smoky. A must try!

Thanking my friend Valeryi, who was so kind to send me a bottle through Roman, I finally had the chance to taste this wine. The nose is a mix of pepper notes and cream, making it light but anticipating. On the mouth it still has a "hard" attack, probably because it is still young. On the mouth it is light, with a Nice structure but a bit acid. To try in a couple of years.

I was lucky enough to get bottle nr. 0910. It has a very thick involvement of the glasses' walls. A lovely spicy vanilla, mint nose, perhaps with some "bergamota". On the mouth it is very well balanced, complex, with hints of chocolate, coffee, caramel, like a Port to go along with food. Definitively, THE Wine for christmas eve!
