There are amazing wine bargains to be had all over the world, and it takes talented, open-minded, diligent buyers like ours to locate them. Sometimes, however, merely finding existing bargains isn’t enough for us. So what’s a resourceful retailer to do? We’ve had some of our favorite producers create bottlings just for us, and they’re some of the best finds in the wine world.
When we taste a wine that’s truly amazing – regardless of whether or not certain magazines, other wine stores, or the “experts” have embraced it – we’re delighted when we can bring it to you for a low price. But we get even more of a charge from having a bottling created exclusively for us – which means you’ll get it at an almost unfairly low price. We source these wines directly from the winemakers, and whenever possible, we skip the importer, leapfrog the distributor, and bypass the warehouse.
